"Finally, the Tour lasts more than three weeks."
In the short film "Le Début" by Pas Normal and Velux, they follow five women riding three of the hardest stages of the Tour de France Femmes. Cycling can mean a lot of different things to different people. In this film, we learn why each of these five women value cycling in their lives, and how they've defined their experiences on a bike.
In honor of International Women's Day and in celebration of Galentine's Day, we invite you to our screening of "Le Début" at BikeSource Unviersity Hills. In a historically male dominated sport and industry, we feel that it is important to carve out space dedicated to our riders who identify as women. This event is open to anyone to attend, regardless of gender identity.
Free food and drink will be available to attendees, as well as a raffle to win a bike of your choice valued up to $1,000*! RSVP and attendance is required to be entered in the bike raffle, and the winner will be announced during the event.
This event is part of a collabortive series with the Ride or Die Collective leading up to International Women's Day on March 8th dedicated to our riders who identify as women.
*Exclusions apply depending on availability.
