In this panel on the Art of Goal Setting, we will hear from women who are experienced in setting and achieving goals not only in athletics but also in their personal lives. We want to encourage our riders who identify as women to be confident in their goals, and be loud when they achieve them. Our panel of women will talk about getting uncomfortable, setting smart goals, and lady-bragging.
Women often keep their goals and achievements more closley guarded, and as a result hesitate to celebrate their wins. In deconstructing the social expectation to be quiet about achievements as women, we hope to empower riders to express pride for their accomplishments, and understand how capable they are of reaching their goals.
This discussion is inteded to be open and fluid, so we encourage attendees to bring any questions they might have for our panelists. Our featured panelists include Rebecca Brough, founder of the Ride or Die Collective, Tina and Taylor, cycling and dietary coaches from the Ride or Die Collective, and Specialized athletes Kaylee Blevins, Julie Emmerman, Andrea Dvorak and Erica Wirski.
Free food and drink will be provided during the event!
